STARSHIY CHOIR RADOST
The Radost Choir is a laureate of Moscow, All-Russia and international competitions and festivals. It deals with children 11-15 years old, the team has more than 70 participants.
The choir conducts a large concert activity, performing in the best Moscow halls, such as the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Rachmaninov Hall of the Moscow Conservatory, the Concert Hall named aft. P. Tchaikovsky, Hall of Church Councils, Svetlanov Hall of the International House of Music, etc., Recorded on radio and television.
The choir showed its skills in many cities of Russia, as well as abroad - in Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Spain, Bulgaria, Belarus and Ukraine.
The Radost Choir is the owner of the Grand Prix of the Moscow Festival of Children's and Youth Creativity "Moscow’ Young Talents" and each year becomes the winner of the Moscow youth festival-competition for the best performance of sacred music, "A Christmas Carol"
In 2014 singers took part in the official closing ceremony of the XXII Olympic Winter Games (Russia, Sochi) as part of the Children's Choir of Russia; in December 2015 as part of the 1000-voice Children's Choir of Russia performed in the program of the concert "Glory to our mighty land!", dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Prokofiev; in 2015, won a diploma of I degree in the choral competition "Crystal Lyre" (Gus-Khrustalny). The Radost Choir has repeatedly become the laureate of the I stage of the Moscow International Children and Youth Choir Festival "Moscow Sounds".
The choir is an annual participant of the "Raduga" choral festival, which takes place in the State Academic Chapel named after M. Glinka in St. Petersburg, as well as a participant in a large choral festival dedicated to the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture on the Red Square of our capital.
The repertoire of the collective includes works of Russian and foreign classics, compositions of contemporary composers, folk songs, sacred music. Each performance of the choir is distinguished by its brightness, originality, monolithic sound and artistic skill.
The team successfully develops a direction called "Choral theatricalization" - these are scenic techniques that help to convey to the listener the drama of a musical work.
A special place in the creative activity of the team is a civil-patriotic theme. Musical-literary compositions: "Monument to the Soldier", "You-Russia mine", "Unknown Soldier" to the music of Serafim Tulikov and Victor Golikov with the use of soldiers' letters of the Great Patriotic War, poems of the front-line soldiers received diplomas at festivals and competitions, with success were performed at the best concert venues in Moscow.
The team cooperates with modern Moscow composers, such as A. Kiselev, V. Golikov, V. Kalistratov, and often becomes the first performer of their works.
The head of the collective is Honored Worker of General Education, laureate of the Moscow Grant Competition, laureate of the Moscow, All-Russian and International Competitions, Honored Artist of the All-Russian Music Society, Ekaterina Dunaeva, a teacher with more than twenty-five years of practical experience working with children's choirs.Choirmaster and accompanist - Valery Balyberdina.
