ONE VOICE CHOIR GHANA

The One Voice Choir was formed out of the passion displayed by some young men for gospel music especially acappella and contemporary Ghanaian tunes in 2004. The first unofficial performance of the group was at a Youth Camp organized by the Odorkor Adventist Youth Society, a group belonging to the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. From that point, One Voice, as it was then called, won the admiration of several other members of the Youth Society, including young ladies. The choir then grew from a traditional male choir to a gender-diverse choral group with membership from different denominations. Currently, the choir has a membership of forty (40).
Now nearing its tenth year, the choir has over 100 performances and concerts altogether. To the glory of God, the choir launched its foremost album in April 2011 and has also set up an education endowment fund to assist brilliant but needy members and non-members in their formal and informal education. As part of our social responsibility, the choir has been performing at the Princess Marie hospital’s end of year party for the kids on admission since 2010.
The Choir has Humphrey Kwaah (0243204578) as the leader and Derick Asare Antwi (0249443484) as the Choir master. It has a board of governors/patrons of 5 members with diverse background, chaired by Mrs. Abigail Quaye (Head of Remittance Unit – Bank of Ghana).
