HOLY FAMILY TROUPE

It's been an amazing and very successful journey so far

The TROUPE is a comprehensive musical Society *(Music Academy, Chorale, Orchestra, Band)*

Started in 2010, as just a group of Choristers around *Igando/Ikotun*, Lagos, who were enthusiastic and zealous about knowing more and improving in Musical Knowledge *(Staff Notation, Voice, Classic Singing Styles, Orchestral Instrumentation)*

Trainings were held only on Saturdays, by the founder and Director, *Mr Okeke Chuks Orlando*

He worked tirelessly to groom, from the scratch, these Wonderfully dedicated Choristers

Within a year, the results of these trainings began to manifest, as the group had her very First program, *A Concert performance of Messiah, by G.F Handel*

It took the group, just 2 Months to prepare for this Concert, as almost all her members had learnt to read Music, Sing and Play at sight

Moving on, the group has performed several Classical oratorios and Opera works, like *The Creation - By J. Haydn, Judas Maccabaeus - by G.F Handel, Magic Flute - by W.A Mozart, Elijah - by F Mendelssohn, Rolling Seasons - by Caleb Simper, Mass in C - by Beethoven,* etc, in her annual Concert series tagged *"SINGSPIRATION"* And *"HYMNSPIRATION"*

It's been amazing success stories all through, as the group has been invited severally for *World Choir Olympics*, by the *World Choir Council*, after rigorous screening exercises

The group has also performed in all Major Nigerian Cities, and accross Africa - *Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Benin Republic* and beyond Africa - *Singapore*.

The group primarily provides *trainings for both children and adults, sale of all kinds of musical instruments and equipments, provision of Professional Orchestra/Choir For all occasions*, etc

The group is domiciled in Festac Town Area of Lagos State, Nigeria
